Word comes from Cuquita’s owner Elizabeth Villafranca that she is opening her doors to her latest restaurant, Four Corners, this coming Friday, February 10, 2012. The hours for the new restaurant in farmers branch will be 6am to 2pm and serve breakfast and lunch items only.
We told you about the new restaurant a few weeks ago, and today we get the press release with more details. You might remember Vilafranca from Cuquita’s, the fresh Tex-Mex restaurant that was named top five by Texas Monthly. We have also sent them accolades over the years and recently named them one of the top enchiladas in Dallas.
Here’s the rest of the information:
The home-style American menu will feature waffles, pancakes, egg dishes, salads, sandwiches and, of course, biscuits and gravy. Four Corners Café will also have many gluten free options, including pancakes, waffles and Udi’s brand gluten free toast and bagels. The owners selected a local coffee roaster and will have their own Four Corners Blend drip coffee as well as incredible cappuccinos and lattes made by specially trained baristas. Everything is made fresh.
Four Corners Cafe seats 49 guests and features a fireplace with a small seating area. The decor features beautiful black and white photos taken of landmarks in Farmers Branch that truly showcase the charm of the city. The Cafe is owned and operated by Enrique and Elizabeth Villafranca who also own award-winning Cuquita’s Restaurants.

The Migas are excellent including the tomotatos. Selected the potatoes which are finely sliced cubes and fresh. Coffee is exceptional as a special blended roast. Corn tortillas are fresh, light, and hand made. The theme is bright, cheery, and complements the friendly atmosphere of Farmers Branch.
