You’ve seen the bridge, and now you can experience the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge first hand with one of the many upcoming events held in its glorious honor.
The official Bridge-o-Rama takes place Friday, March 2 to Sunday, March 4, 2012. Limited edition Bridge-o-Rama wristbands are only $5 each but will give you access to deals to these businesses all over West Dallas for an entire month. Proceeds go to four worthwhile organizations that provide assistance to the less fortunate in West Dallas. You can purchase Bridge-o-Rama wristbands online here.
One of the ancillary events includes a party hosted by Jim Lake Companies. Their open-to-the-public happy hour in the Design District will include complimentary drinks, live music, and art.

Among the Bridge-o-Rama events are a tour of the new Shepard Fairey murals, given by the Dallas Contemporary; readings by noted Dallas authors and a talk by world renowned sculptor Jesus Moroles at Habitat for Humanity; a seminar at Methodist Hospital in Oak Cliff on the hottest, up-and-coming neighborhoods around the world; a classic car and lowrider exhibit and an outdoor screening of Ken Burns’ documentary, Brooklyn Bridge.
