Adam Gertler Checks In At Sissy’s

It was a family reunion of sorts last night at Sissy’s Southern Kitchen. A fellow Food Network friend Adam Gertler stopped by Liza Garza’s new restaurant to pay his respects and dine around the menu. Gertler and his posse ate a big family-style meal and tried the fried chicken, red fish, squash puppies, pork ribs, cookies and milk, and punch.  

Gertler reportedly loved the Sissy’s house-made hot sauce, which is mighty fine and is Sriracha based.

Gertler and Garza became friends when they competed on season four of The Next Food Network Star, and currently hosts the Food Network’s primetime series, Kid in a Candy Store.
