For those following the wanderings of Sir Guy Fieri of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, you can catch local BBQ mavens at Pecan Lodge as their episode premiers Memorial Day, May 28, 2012. The little BBQ Mecca is located in Shed Two at the Dallas Farmers Market and serves up some remarkable brisket, sausage, burnt ends and something they call a Hot Mess, which is a divine confluence of a giant smoked sweet potato crowned with brisket.
Pecan Lodge hours are Thursday through Sunday, opening each day from 11am to 3pm.
