There is no doubt we truly appreciate what Jon Alexis has done for the seafood climate in Dallas. The young owner of TJ’s Seafood Market located on Preston at Forest Lane continually does his personal best to bring in the freshest seafood and educate the public any way he can on the good nature of fish.  Alexis often sends us reports to place on craveDFW.   

Today we catch word that Jon Alexis is hosting a seafood class at Duo this coming Tuesday April 24, 2012 starting at 6:30pm. Not only will you learn the finer points of cooking fresh seafood but you will also enjoy his daily catch which includes Oysters Two Ways: Rockefeller and Cucumber Mignonette, Maryland Crab Cakes with Arugula Salad, Thai Curry Mussels with Crusty Bread and  Low Country Shrimp & Grits.
