British Uptown Invasion

by Steven Doyle

The British Beverage Company is slated to open this Fall in Uptown Dallas at 2800 Routh Street in the Quadrangle. The menu will feature fish and chips, craft cocktails, 50 beers on tap and over 100 bottles.

The new British style pub is owned by Larry Martin and Edgar Carlson, and will be cheffed by Jason Hice who comes to us from Nana in the Anatole and several restos in New York.

In keeping with the British inspiration, all of the UK draughts will be served in the classic imperial pint, some 20% larger than its Colonial counterpart. Also look for large communal tables, comfortable lounge areas and not one, but two court yards.

We will keep you updated on this soon-to-be hotspot as they are closer to opening their doors.
