Thursday evening, Dallas radio’s 103.7 morning hosts Gene & Julie will be joined by Megan Saunders who was celebrating her 20th birthday with five of her best friends at the ill-fated Dark Knight Rises screening. Thankfully, they all made it out safely and physically uninjured.
You can meet Megan and show your support for the shooting victims on Thursday at Sambuca in Uptown Dallas. Joining Megan and Gene & Julie will be a gathering of local celebrities, including Sean Lowe of “The Bachelorette,” Steve Kemble, LeeAnne Locken, Amy Vanderoef, and more.
Sambuca has generously donated complementary appetizers and half-priced drinks. Donations collected at the event will go straight to COVA, Colorado Organization for Victim Assistance, which will help support the victims and their families. It’s suggested that everyone give at least $20 to get in the door and show Texas-sized love for our Colorado brothers and sisters.
