More Previews From Sēr at the Hilton Anatole

We checked out Sēr at the Hilton Anatole for their final pre-opening tasting. This is the restaurant opening October 1, 2012 and is the replacement of Nana Grill. We are happy to report that the view is still as spectacular, if not better since there will actually be more space alongside the window that overlooks a near panoramic view of the Dallas skyline.

When you enter the restaurant you will notice that the space is now more open, with little to distinguish the bar area from the actually dining room. The space flows freely as the champagne cocktails did that evening.

There is now a chef’s table that will hold up to 14 guests that is perched just off the very open kitchen. This openness is a fantastic trend that allows guests to feel part of the cooking process as they watch flames lap up and chefs scurrying about to get your plate to your table.

The cocktail program will prove to be particularly exciting as it will be set up by Michael Martensen of Cedars Social fame.

We were so happy to be part of this process and know that although Nana has left the building, a bright and busier future is at hand for the historic 27th floor.

The trending raw bar willl feature a wonderful assortment of oysters, crabs, giant shrimp and other cold seafood selections.

The Waygu beef that fills this burger is rich and flavorful. Consider this kicked up bar food.

Not just steaks, Ser will offer other meaty selections.

Sweet endings and the largest chocolate cake we have ever laid eyes on.

  1. Watchers

You should tell readers that you were hired by SERs PR firm to help advise SER.

    • I would if only true. I was an invited guest along with a group of other writers to check out the new place before it opens. We met 3 times and tasted what might be on the menu. This is how you get the information before it hits the streets. We gave no advice, merely observed.
