Dallas –As construction of the center’s new 5-story mixed-use building winds to a close, The Plaza at Preston Center is pleased to announce that a 5,915 square foot True Food Kitchen will open its doors in 2013.
True Food Kitchen is the brainchild of best-selling author Dr. Andrew Weil and James Beard Award-nominated Sam Fox of Phoenix-based Fox Restaurant Concepts. True Food Kitchen’s menu consists of freshly imagined meals centered on the principals of Dr. Weil’s Anti-inflammatory Diet and Food Pyramid. The restaurant has garnered the reputation of being one of the country’s healthiest, and has become known for its use of organic and locally grown products as well as seasonal menu changes.
The Plaza at Preston Center location will be the seventh True Food Kitchen opened in the U.S. by Fox Restaurant Concepts, which also owns Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar, The Greene House, The Arrogant Butcher, Blanco Tacos & Tequila, Olive & Ivy, Wildflower American Cuisine, Modern Steak, Culinary Dropout, Sauce Pizza & Wine, and NoRTH Modern Italian Cuisine.
“The debut of True Food Kitchen will bring a new, fresh concept to Dallas diners from one of the most respected boutique restaurant companies in the U.S.,” said Mike Geisler, founding partner of Venture Commercial and The Plaza’s exclusive broker. “We welcome True Food Kitchen as the first new retail tenant in the new building, and we look forward to announcing more great tenants in the coming weeks.”
