More Texas fare coming at you from the Hilton Park Cities October 22, 2012. There have been more restaurant openings in Dallas this month than normal and we are looking forward to trying Grain which will sport the cowboy-chic décor and a menu that is said to bridge the gap between high-end Dallas dining and familiar Texas fare.
Grain’s menu, designed by Chef James Music and Sous Chef Christopher Bosco, combines fine dining with the farm-to-table movement, exclusively serving meat, seafood, produce and libations sourced from the great state of Texas.
Here is some love from their press release:
Lunch and dinner both showcase a parade of classic southern favorites with pleasantly-surprising twists. Exhibit A: a cobb salad with unique additions like beef tenderloin, chicken, sweet corn, black beans, queso fresco, avocado and creamy honey-lime vinaigrette. Exhibit B: the dizzying selection of steaks and Gulf Coast seafood.
The commitment to preserving the best flavors in Texas doesn’t stop at the dining room. The sophisticated bar and lounge offers the finest Texas beers, wines and spirits along with an impressive collection of cocktails that are barrel-aged on site.
