Amberjax To Open Dec 20 In Trinity Groves

Trinity Groves is hopping with a few new restaurants just weeks away from opening. The next restaurant to open in the super cool dining area on the other side of the new Hunt bridge is Amberjax. Check out their website for a full menu that actually reads like a bible. Insiders tell us that the kitchen is equipped with every gadget known in the chef world, and it looks like they are going to use each implement. Amberjax is all about the seafood. Look for menu fare such as BBQ Shrimp Po Boys (my favorite since I am from New Orleans) to Grilled Swordfish and Filet Oscar.

In the market, AmberJax will provide an array of entrees including fresh fish, seafood and prime beef. The market will cater to families on the go, offering take-out and ready-to-cook healthy meals, as well as fresh produce and side items.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, offering the freshness and variety of the market, prepared by Chef Larry Williams and his team. Karen Simmons-Williams will operate the front of the house. She will also be responsible for crafting our extensive wine, beer and liquor offerings.

Amberjax will open December 20, 2013 at 11am.  Look for Chino Chinatown to open very soon as well. Uno Immanivong, chef-owner of Chino says she plans to open before the end of the year and has been waiting for a certificate of occupancy.  A recent peek inside the restaurant looks like progress is being made with the build out, but there is still some work to be done at this highly anticipated restaurant. I am personally excited about the dim sum that will be served on Sundays. How exciting is that?
