What’s Eating Your Phone?

phoneby Steven Doyle

Each week we ask the question, “What’s Eating Your Phone”? This is where we all can join in on the foodie fun and send in your latest dining photo that has you all jazzed. These are not necessarily limited to dining out, it can be from that last dinner party. And don’t think we discriminate against libations. Send in your favorite cocktail photo, too.

To be included in a future edition of What’s Eating Your Phone, send those photos to me at steven@cravedfw.com. A brief description and location would be super helpful. Here are this week’s selections:

rhinda dutton

Rhonda Dutton sent more than a few photos in this week, but we were most enamored by one of our favorite pizzas in the DFW area that is located in Frisco. Pizzeria Testa makes this beautiful pie that is every bit a work of art as it is lunch.

pippin

After some long hours in the booth at KNON David Pippin found this breakfast of champions at Club Schmitz.

Delia Jo

Delia Jo was willing to share her red chile shrimp with sesame noodles, Gai Lan, spinach from True Food Kitchen. She added that she was a bit apprehensive about dining at a place that looked too healthy to be delicious, but this dish changed her thoughts.

kipp

Kipp Cohen sends us his pig pic from CBD Provisions located in the Joule. The meaty head is served with a stack of freshly made tortillas and several sauces for the best carnitas in the city.

jaco

One of our very favorite, and very pregnant sommeliers in Dallas, Jennifer Jaco-Ehlert shared her dessert with us. This is the new strawberry panna cotta with scotch marshmallows from Driftwood. It looks like panna cotta is making another full on resurgence in Dallas.

alejandro faz

Alejandro Faz said he enjoyed the frog legs from Nova in Oak Cliff this past Monday evening. These are really good, and a terrific alternative to chicken wings.
