We shared the very sad news that Carnival Barkers lost their lease at the Truck Yard and will cease operations there in September. Read all about that here. But in the same story owner Aaron Barker stated that he had plans to go mobile with a push cart and will be wielding his way through the eastern section of Dallas. That idea has come to fruition.
Look for Carnival Barkers to make their way through Deep Ellum this weekend with the city approved food cart. For those near Oak Cliff, Barker has his new flagship shop located at 345 West Jefferson. You can still find the tiny shop at the entrance of the Truck Yard still serving until September 14th. It will be a scorching hot weekend and hand churned ice cream awaits!
