Holiday Vignettes: Janice Provost

by Steven Doyle

Janice Provost grew up in the Houston area on the Neal’s Family Farm and started out in the restaurant business as a caterer before finally going through the El Centro hospitality program in Dallas. She was eventually hired as a chef at Parigi, and ended up buying the business.

Abraham is the owner of Salum, the New American restaurant tucked away on the outskirts of Uptown at Cole and Fitzhugh, and Komali. Komali is a fun and energetic restaurant that serves authentic Mexican cuisine much like he experienced when living in Mexico City.   Continue reading

Limoncello Time

by Steven Doyle

Now is the time to make the elixir.  It is so simple to make, pretty much anyone of drinking age can pull this off.

You will thank us for this.  Best way to say thanks?  A bottle of Limoncello.    Continue reading
