Brad Perkinson at the new FireWheel Brewing Company based in Rowlett, Texas, is taking the beer world on full force. I caught up with him at the new Brix Bar and Grill in Plano. After finishing the hand-made White Trash burger (which consists of a hand formed patty tossed in wing sauce, covered in bacon and jalapenos, then all topped with a fried egg) he was ready to chat. Beer in hand, we headed outside to the spacious corner patio to tell me his story. He is immediately the fun loving beer guy that everyone wants to hang out with all hours of the night. New Craft Revolver Brewing Opens Oct 20, 2012
Revolver Brewing in Granbury, Texas, will celebrate its grand opening Oct. 20, 2012 with tastings, live music, food trucks and more. Revolver Brewing is the first craft brewery to be built in Hood County, Texas. The brewery is housed in a 6,000-square-foot new construction building and holds a 30-barrel brew house, fermentation tanks and packaging equipment. Continue reading

A Visit To Four Corners Brewing Company
The brew news is at a fever pitch this week. Today I was on an exclusive tour through the Trinity Groves and decided to check out the progress of the soon to open Four Corners Brewing Company where I found owner John Sims hard at work cleaning kegs and otherwise waiting for bureaucracy to lend its hand at finalizing his legal permits to operate and produce his first batch of beer at 423 Singleton.
