Primo Brothers Pizza Celebrates Oktoberfest and is Giving Pizza Tossing Lessons

Primo Brothers Pizza owner Luan Vraniqi has a history with pizza. In the late ‘60s his father and two uncles, who originated from Albania, worked for several pizza parlors, in nearly every capacity, before they opened their own place in the mid ‘70s.  Here they became known for their New York style pizza and sub sandwiches.  As a boy, this is where Luan, a Brooklyn native, began to consume the pizza business and when early notions of his own restaurant burgeoned.

In the 80’s the same family brought their own special version of the New York-style pizza to Dallas and soon gained a huge following with Brother’s Pizza. Dough made fresh daily with fresh ingredients drove the restaurant to stand out. Other Italian favorites including subs, pasta and salads were also popular.    Continue reading
