Dallas $10k for Kids Event Benefits Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children

I love it when chefs band together for a common cause, benefiting a great group, raising a significant amount of money and as a side benefit we all dine well. There are no losers in this equation. Last year an Elite Chef Quartet including John Tesar, Graham Dodds, Nick Amoriello, and Daniel Pittman raised a significant amount of funds for St Jude Children’s Research Hospital at an event titled Dallas $10k for Kids produced by local personal chef Noelle Hendrix.

Hendrix is back at it again this year to see a nice check is written to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and will include another bevy of chefs including Sharon Van Meter of 3015, Nikky Phinyawatana with Asian Mint, and Ashely T Henson from Tower Club. These super ladies will serve their pop-up dinner from 7pm-10pm. There is also a male contingency which includes Chefs Justin Holt of Lucia, Daniel Pittman from LUCK, and Nick Amoriello. These talented men will serve their Pop-Up style dinner from 10pm-1am.

This year’s event takes place at Industry Alley Bar, owned and operated by Dallas’ leading barman Charlie Pap with a fairy tale theme which includes plenty of drink specials for the entire royal court while you play Black Jack and Roulette for a donation of only $25 to receive $100 to play.

Save the April 22nd date and see you at Industry Alley Bar. Price for the dinner is a mere $20 per plate at the door, and you will find plenty of silent auction items to increase your donation to the hospital.

Each year, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children provides extensive treatment and therapy for thousands of children challenged by orthopedic conditions, including scoliosis, clubfoot, congenital dislocated hip, Legg-Perthes, limb-length differences and hand conditions, as well as young athletes with sports injuries.
