Whiskey Cake Crushes Competition

Sean Conner from Whiskey Cake Kitchen & Bar in Plano is one of the six semi-finalists of National Restaurant Association’s Star of the Bar Competition and will be traveling to defend our states honor in Chicago May 22nd at the 2011 International Wine, Spirits & Beer Event

The top three finalists, as selected by IWSB attendees, will advance to the final round of live competition at the first annual Restaurants Rock, the official NRA Show and IWSB industry celebration, that evening. The winner will receive a $5,000 cash prize.

The annual National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show is the largest and most comprehensive global gathering of restaurant, foodservice and lodging professionals. The NRA Show 2011 will be held May 21-24 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
