by Crave Staff

This event will melt your heart as much as the variety of pastries served at this event. We had a chance to attend last years event and it was incredible.  Not only the chefs but their sous chefs for the day.  Read their info to get a better look at Best Buddies and this event.

Pastry Chef Showcase is coming to Dallas after becoming one of Virginia’s most anticipated fundraisers. Best Buddies Texas has announced the chefs who will be participating in this year’s event on Wednesday, May 4th, beginning at 6:00 pm at Victoria Hall (3121 Ross Avenue Dallas, TX 75204).

Life is Sweet, the nonprofit’s Spring fundraiser, showcases spectacular desserts designed, created and presented by DFW’s top chefs and their Buddies (adults with intellectual disabilities). All proceeds from this event benefit Best Buddies Texas.

Individual tickets are $100.00 per person, and Gary Cogill, former WFAA film critic, will emcee the event. The event will consist of the presentation of these sought over desserts, an array of hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, and fabulous friends. After this event you’ll know: Life is truly sweet!
