Pho Colonial Finally Opening Downtown

For those of you wanting your downtown pho fix, your wait is about over.  By the way, do you bother pronouncing the word “pho” the correct way “feh”, or just run with the more easily recognized “fo”?

Pho Colonial Authentic Vietnamese Diner is set to debut August 3^rdin The Wilson Building at Stanley Marcus Square. The newest concept by restaurateur Khanh Dao, Pho Colonial focuses on the freshest ingredients available in signature Vietnamese dishes to create a palette of flavors reflective of Vietnam’s rich culinary heritage and influences.

“Our location downtown will differ slightly from our North Dallas location,” says Khanh, Pho Colonial founder, creator and Chief Pho Taste Maker. “The Wilson Building will offer dine-in, take-out (walkup window) and delivery service in addition to having a selection of pre-made Bánh Mì sandwiches and fresh Vietnamese salads available for the Professionals’ On the Go, or just poolside snacking. There will be valet parking available in the evenings as well as bike parking stands and scooter friendly spaces.”

Casual and affordable, Pho Colonial’s Master Chef, Phat Tran’s menu includes a selection of Saigon style Pho, traditional Vietnamese noodle soup served with fresh vegetables and herbs for garnishing to taste, Bánh Mì, fresh French baguette sandwiches with choice of grilled meats or house-made goose-liver pate, Bún, rice vermicelli noodle with choice of grilled meats as well as Small Bites including Chef’s crafted dumplings, Beef Citrus Carpaccio, Vietnamese Spring Rolls with Peanut Sauce and Chefs’ Specials Bo Luc Lac (Shaken Beef tenderloin cubes) and Sate Chili Shrimp.

Pho Colonial in the historic Wilson Building at Stanley Marcus Square located on Ervay Street (between Main and Elm) with physical address at 1623 Main Street, Suite 102, 214-748-0746, 214-812-9655 fax. Hours of operation are Sunday-Thursday 11am-11pm and Friday-Saturday 11am-1am (dining room open till 11pm and walkup takeout till 1am). Valet parking after 6pm available on Ervay Street.
