McCallister’s Cafe Momentum Dinner Now On Sale

by Steven Doyle

Just on sale with tickets still available is the Café Momentum pop-up dinner for November 6, 2011 with chef Matt McCallister. The local cooking phenom will be preparing his style of cookery for the café with a heart.

Café Momentum is a non-profit concept benefiting Youth Village Resources  of Dallas. Each first Sunday of the month, chef’s Houser and Provost from Parigi welcome a Dallas area chef to spread the kitchen creativity and help youth learn the world of culinary arts.

In past months Café Momentum hosted other local chefs including Jeffrey Hobbs, Randall Copeland and Sharon Hage. Slated but sold out are chefs David Uygur for September and Abraham Salum for October’s pop-up dinner.

Each one of the past dinners have been met with acclaim and success raising the much needed funds that will be necessary to open Café Momentum at a permanent location.

McCallister’s dinner will take place on a Sunday at Hibiscus located at 2827 N. Henderson allowing for 100 guests. For more information or to purchase tickets, please check out the Momentum website.
