We Celebrate Our Single Year Of Existence Tonight

by Steven Doyle

Tonight we celebrate a year at craveDFW, although it is actually a year and a month. We had the good people behind Standard Pour offer to host our party tonight. This is the pub that will open its doors next week to the general public and feature fantastic cocktails and food.  We will sample both of those at tonight’s party.

Standard Pour is located at 2900 McKinney Avenue.

Since we decided to have the party at Standard Pour, Andrew Lostetter who works at Neighborhood Services Tavern met with a catastrophic injury while skiing.  He broke his pelvis in four places and fractured a vertebrae. He has already undergone two surgeries and will need much more medical attention. Tonight we will meld our party with a fundraiser for Drew. You will most likely meet many industry people at the event, and these people know how to have fun.

So here is how this will work.  When you come tonight at 7pm to celebrate our anniversary we will be offering several cocktails and passed appetizers so you can see what the bar will be like when it opens.  Brian McCullough will be stationed behind the bar along with many volunteer bartenders  to serve up about a dozen different cocktails they will also be selling for $10 each. This is after the free stuff. There will be no beer and no wine. Just the good stuff. Remember, this place isn’t open for business yet.

100% of the funds raised tonight will go directly to help pay Drew’s rent and other bills while he is in recovery.  You will be seeing other events around town like this.

So come out tonight, and have a drink on us.  Celebrate with us what we enjoy about this city, and help out as you can as well.  No credit cards tonight, so bring some cash and let’s have some fun!

I’m looking forward to it! That is great what you’re doing for Drew, and I hope his recovery improves steadily.
