Win A Four Pack Of Passes To The New Octopus Garden At Sea Life

by Jerry Stewart

Octopus Garden, a new innovative attraction opening April 4 at Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium, introduces families to the amazing world of cephalopods. From octopus and cuttlefish to nautilus, these distinctive creatures have almost supernatural abilities including camouflage, ink clouds and jet propulsion. Octopus Garden includes hands-on activities demonstrating some of the unique skills belonging to cephalopods.

“We are thrilled to show visitors how strangely beautiful these creatures are,” said Iain Scouller, General Manager of Sea Life Aquarium and Legoland Discovery Center. “Octopus Garden will educate guests about these unique creatures in a fun and interactive environment as only Sea Life can do.”

With five new display tanks, the exhibit features a Giant Pacific Octopus, Zebra Octopus, Pharaoh Cuttlefish and Chambered Nautilus. Octopus Garden also includes: a hide-and-seek octopus game, an octopus memory quiz, octopus maze activity and two new educational presentations.

Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium transports you into the amazing underwater world. Prepare for astonishingly close views of everything from humble starfish and seahorses to graceful rays and powerful sharks. With an amazing 360° ocean tunnel, 30 display tanks and more than 5,000 sea creatures the aquarium is the perfect stop for family fun. To get any closer you would have to get wet. Admission is $19 for adults, $15 for children ages three to 12. For more information visit www.sealifeus.com/grapevine or call 1-877-819-7677.

Now you may win a family pass for four by leaving a clever comment below.  Winner will be chosen at random Friday, April 6, 2012.
