Acme F&B Opening June 1

A press release landed on our door step announcing that Acme F&B will be opening their doors tomorrow, Friday, June 1, 2012.  Partners Colleen O’Hare and Jeana Johnson (Good To Go Taco) with Brooke Humphries and Brianna Larson (Barcadia) will feature 24 beers on tap, 26 exclusive or hard to find wines and a dozen specialty cocktails.          

The restaurant will serve what they term as New American cuisine, a catch all term for upscale and contemporary dining. The release mentions a few dining options as “summer chilled green gazpacho, grilled asparagus with roasted beet mimosa salad, chicken and dumplings with rainbow chard gnocchi, and braised rabbit with three onion risotto jus”.

You might recognize O’Hare and Johnson from Good2Go Taco in east Dallas who also provides all the food for Goodfriend located next door to the taco mecca.

Acme F&B is located at 4900 McKinney Avenue in Uptown Dallas.
