Fort Worth’s Los Vaqueros restaurant has leased the former Old Rips restaurant for their second location. The latest incarnation of the restaurant will be on the southeast corner of West Berry Street and Cockrell Avenue, just east of South University Drive, in Fort Worth. This space is adjacent to Fuzzy’s Taco Shop and Toppers Pizza. Neighboring retailers include Kroger, Barnes & Noble and CVS/pharmacy.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to begin a new chapter in our 30-year history,” said Vicki Cisneros. “This new venture would not be possible without the ongoing support from the TCU and Fort Worth community. With TCU entering the Big 12 Conference, the timing feels right. We’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces and making new friends this fall.”
The original location is in Fort Worth’s Stockyards. The new location is scheduled to open in early July 2012
