This past weekend was rife with exciting food events including the annual Taste of Dallas which was held once again at Fair Park. This year was bigger and better than year’s past with the addition of a food truck extravaganza.
There were also plenty of opportunities to meet your favorite local chef in celebrity chef kitchen where they dazzled the crowds with fantastic dishes and samples.
Those attending the chef demos dined like kings.
Lockhart BBQ is on oour top five list and we were happy to see them once again at Taste with that killer brisket.
The Enmoladas from Mesa in Oak Cliff made from mama Olga’s house-made mole sauce will make you sing.
Bryan Street Tavern has one of the hottest wings in the city with their soul-burning sauce. They have a cash challenge that probably does not make the attempt worthwhile.
