Tiffany Derry Celebrates Anniversary Of Private|Social

by Steven Doyle

Tiffany Derry is celebrating her first anniversary with her restaurant Private|Social, and to kick off the festivities she has revamped her Social menu to include shared plates (we love them) which includes  Korean BBQ Short Ribs with Sweet and Spicy Pickled Cucumbers; Shishito Peppers with Korean Spices, and Sesame Seeds; and Lamb Meatballs with Spicy Marinara Sauce, Goat Cheese and Crusty Bread.

“We’ve had a great first year. To mark the occasion, I wanted to shake things up a bit with the Social menu,” says Derry. “I wanted to keep it approachable by offering affordable shared and large plates.”

Barman Rocco Milano really shakes things up at the bar and has come up with some new classics such as Dominican Drifter (Brugal Añejo Rum, Berentzen Apple Liqueur, St. Elizabeth All-Spice Dram, Fresh Lemon Juice, Widmer Drifter Pale Ale), Fall Into A Glass (Damrak Gin, Hum Botanical Spirit, Fresh Lemon Juice, Franconia Hefeweizen), Polish 57 (Zubrowka Polish Bison Grass Vodka, Fresh Lemon Juice, Champagne, Orange Zest), and Martinez (Bols Aged Genever, Dolin Rouge Sweet Vermouth, Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur, Orange Bitter, Jerry Thomas Own Decanter Bitters).

Look for live music on the Social side Wednesdays and Fridays.

Wednesdays, 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. – Goga
Friday, 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. – Josh Goode
