Although Uber has been servicing the area for a short while, they are up running in full force offering their services for all sorts of situations. Rally a car for a one way trip to a party, or request round trip to the latest gala.
I have been witnessing the service in town as bars close, and the service is impeccable. To use the service merely load the app and divulge your method of payment. Using the app on your smart phone you call up a car at various levels from a simple car, a black town car or an SUV. Each car has a limitation as far as passengers, but the cost is fixed including the gratuity.
A simple trip across town will most likely cost you around $20, which could be slightly higher than a cab, but the service more than makes up for the difference. The cars are guaranteed clean, the drivers are happy, and the service is speedy.
We have noticed that with some trips, say from Uptown Dallas to Downtown Dallas the cost is about the same once a tip and extra passenger fee has been added to a typical cab ride.
Once you order your car you will be sent messages via text and can also follow your driver on the app. You will receive a photo of the driver, and they will have a photo of you so no one is able to snag your car like it can often happen in a busy cab situation.
Go home safely and quickly using this new Uber service. You now have your own personal driver.

I need a car service like Uber because I read about all these great events on CraveDFW and need a safe way to get home from attending them after being overserved. Not that I’ve driven after being overserved. OK, maybe once. Or more. But I shouldn’t have.

We had a couple’s outing a month or so ago that got a little out of hand…I’m talking broken glassware, Korean Karaoke, and general debauchery…a service like Uber would have certainly come in handy!
I needed a car service once when it was my girlfriends birthday and it was such a pain setting SUVs and towncars up in a pinch until Uber came around. Now it’s so easy!
I just used Uber this week to navigate through 5:00 traffic! My driver was great and so friendly! It made the 30 minute trek down the Toll Way a breeze! I will definitely use them again in the future! 🙂
I need a car service to go to Gala’s like DIFFA, Black Tie Dinner, Crystal Ball, Art Ball and i have used Uber during my travels to Chicago and NYC and drivers are awesome! and always on time and friendly ! And totally worth the little bit extra from a Cab.
I’ve needed a car service to and from the airport to visit my family every couple of months! I go to university here in Dallas and I hate bothering a friend to take me to DFW. It would be nice to drive in style to and from the airport using Uber!

Anyone remember the Superbowl and the 20 year winter storm we had last year? Taxis were on strike and it was about 15 degrees outside when we were leaving the the Black Eye Peas Party at Fair Park. Uber would have been perfect!
I called for a cab the weekend before Halloween to go to a block party. I called back several times. I even called another company and they said stick with the first company. I waited two hours and the cab never showed up.
