From Brooke Humphries and Brianna Larson who brought you Barcadia and now full owners of Acme F&B, look for a new venture to be located at 2114 Greenville Avenue. Mudsmith will be an elevated coffee house serving FourBarrel Coffee from San Francisco. Four Barrel implements a vintage German roaster for their responsibly selected green beans, and is known for their extreme quality.
Look for food from Acme F&B chef Norm Grimm. Grimm brings in a whole cow from Local Yocal in McKinney twice a week. The beef is broken down and used at Acme, with some cuts going to Barcadia to be used for burgers. This practice will extend to Mudsmith where Grimm will be creating the menu which will also feature light bites and sandwiches.
Mudsmith will also have a beer and wine license, so they will be serving up drinks as well as coffee.
The Lower Greenville Avenue location is across the street from what will be a food truck park and the newest Trader Joes to hit the Dallas area. Look for Mudsmith to open mid to late December.
