Pop Up Bar Benefits Trigger’s Toys

by Steven Doyle

The bartending community in North Texas is particularly active with charitable causes and it doesn’t take much prodding for the members of the local bartending guild to step up into action. Look for their latest venture and pop up bar December 18, 2012 from 8pm to 1am. Here you will see a dozen of the best bartenders in action as they band together to benefit Trigger’s Toys which provides toys and therapy items to area hospitalized children.

Some of your favorite barmen such as Brian McCullough from Standard Pour,  Sean Conner, Bonnie Wilson and Anthony Krencik from Whiskey Cake,  Michael Martenson from Cedar Social and The Establishment, Jason Kosmas from the 86 Company,  Abraham Bell from Oak, Rocco Milano from Private Social, David Allen from TipsyTexan.com, Eddie “Lucky” Campbell from Chesterfield,  and  Kyle Hilla the bartending beast at Bolsa, will all be found mixing it up this December for one night only.

The pop up bar will be located at the former St John’s Wood, 2908 McKinney Avenue Standard Pour in Uptown Dallas.

December is a busy month for everyone, so be sure to save the date to support the great cause and your local barmen.

Trigger’s Toys Charity provides toys and therapy items to all area hospitalized children through the use of Trigger and Animal Assisted dogs like him within local area hospitals, as well as children in need, as result of disaster and family trauma for the purpose of fostering happiness, emotional well-being, and an appreciation for their community’s commitment to their growth.
