Plano’s Whiskey Cake is on the move and plans to open its second location during the first quarter in 2013. The new location will be set in Penn Square Mall at 1845 Northwest Expressway which was formerly the Elephant Bar. Plans are to open additional locations in Kansas and Missouri in the coming New Year.
Whiskey Cake is a farm-to-table concept that offers fresh ingredients for both the food menu and cocktails. Plans are to send Plano bar manager Sean Conner to OKC to train the staff at the new location, and to give his special take on cocktails.
The new location will have many features as the Texas original, including the herb garden that is harvested by both the kitchen and bar staff.
