Last night Sissy’s hosted an amazing cocktail event that raised considerable cash for the American Cancer Society and featured female bartenders from The Cedars Social, Whiskey Cake, Marquee Grill, The Windmill Lounge, the highly anticipated reservations only bar The Establishment.
The barmen also pitched in behind the stick to provide a completely packed house some amazing cocktails featuring spirits from Kettle One, Bombay Saphire, Caña Brava, Cointreau, Angel’s Envy, Dulce Vida, Glenrothes, St. Germaine, Dolin, Bitterman’s Bitters and beer from Deep Ellum Brewing Company.
The event was a veritable who’s who in the cocktail scene, and many of their avid supporters. During the night many of the bartenders, both male and female, were auctioned off to raise the stake in donations. 100% of the door, cocktails and tips were donated for the cause.
Event organizers Bonnie Wilson (of Whiskey Cake) and Trina Nishimura (of The Cedars Social and The Establishment) were extremely excited about Dallas’ first all-female bartender showcase, and the event proved that the ladies behind the bar have game. This event raised a total of $10,000.
