Saturday, February 9, I am leading a tour to demystify local ethnic markets around Dallas. This is where we load up on a bus and I escort a group of about 20 people to a handful of grocers that specialize in particular ethnicities.
A few of the markets we will visit include a Chinese, Middle Eastern, Indian and an Italian market. We drink wine and talk up the cuisine as we travel across the city, as well as some superb sampling along the way. The tour will give you great ideas on what to prepare at home using these marvelous ingredients. You will actually meet the owners and managers of these markets and they will field questions about their particular stock.
