New Events For Savor Dallas Announced

savorby Steven Doyle

Savor Dallas is one of the premier food and wine events in Texas, and enjoyed each year by literally thousands of enthusiasts. The event seems to be growing at a quicker clip each year with more interesting and exciting events to get people out of the house and exposed to our wonderful restaurants, and of course the wine.

Jim White is Dallas gem and has planned for even more this year with events spreading out over an entire week. Look for a huge event at 3015 in Trinity Grove, and we just learned of another new event at the Dallas Arboretum that will be a lot of fun. The Arboretum explodes in the Spring and on Sunday, March 17, 2013 you will be able to stroll the grounds and enjoy premium wines, beers and spirits. You will also find some nice restaurants and caterers on hand to help make the evening even more delicious.

The list of food will be provided by Beyond the Box, Bread Winners Bakery Bistro, Bull Asian Fusion Bistro, E Bar Tex Mex, Fin Sushi & Sake Bar, Highland Park Cafeteria, la Madeleine, Restaurant DeGolyer, and Summerthyme Culinary with Chef Jerimy Holt. This will make for a perfect upscale St Patrick’s Day celebration.

A few other interesting events includes the popular wine stroll, but this year it will be at the new Perot Museum. Also a global wine and cheese event has been added at the Mansion on Turtle Creek.

Pick up your tickets early as these events will sell out, plus there are incentives to purchase now. Check out the Savor Dallas website.
