Best Cellars Dinner At Fearings May 9

The T.J. Martell Foundation will host the Best Cellars Dinner: A Food & Wine Experience Featuring Dallas’ Top Sommeliers on Thursday, May 9th, 2013 at Fearing’s in The Ritz-Carlton, Dallas. Dinner will begin at 6:30pm. 

The Best Cellars Dinner, chaired by Janie & Dave Hodges and Kendall & Derek Williams will feature a four-course gourmet dinner by Chef Dean Fearing and selected wines by Sommelier Table Hosts, one exclusively for each table, which will include:

Modern Luxury will serve as the night’s media sponsor with our Steven Doyle of craveRADIO and craveDFW serving as emcee. The VIP Reception will be kindly sponsored by MaryMartha & John Pickens.

There will be a live auction featuring music and culinary experiences followed by an acoustic performance by Singer & Songwriter, Thom Shepherd, an Austin-based touring artist whose current single “Simplify” is in the top 20 on both the Texas Regional Radio Report and the Texas Music Chart.  He is the writer of the #1 singles “Redneck Yacht Club”, recorded by Craig Morgan, and “Riding with Private Malone” recorded by David Ball. He wrote the #1 Josh Abbott and Pat Green single, “My Texas.” Kevin Fowler recorded two of Thom’s songs, taking “Beer Season” to #1 for three weeks and “Cheaper To Keep Her” to #3 on the Texas Music Chart. He also wrote the GMA Canada Song and Video of the Year “A Father’s Love (The Only Way He Knew How)” and the title track of Tracy Lawrence’s Grammy nominated album “The Rock”.

Proceeds from the Best Cellars Dallas event benefit the T. J. Martell Foundation’s funding of the Physician-Scientist Program at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.  The T.J. Martell Foundation organizes the Best Cellars Dinners and other major events in major markets in the United States.
