Obama Will Not Attend Untapped Fort Worth, But You Should

More beer awaits a thirsty liver in this year’s Untapped Indie Music and Beer Festival version in Fort Worth that gears up Saturday afternoon. VIP is sold out and regular admission might soon as well. Look for over 65 breweries representing over 200 beers, plus a lot of live music including some national touring acts. Gain entry while you can for the low cost of thirty bucks. This includes a taster cup and a dozen tasters. Additional tasting cards are available for five dollars.

For those complaining about 2 ounce pours, remember we live in Texas and must adhere to the evil TABC laws. However, the 2 ounce pours allow you to sample many, many brews. You will not make it through the entire list without a huge grin on your face and a need to call a cab.

Musically, we are looking forward to Deer Tick, Sarah Jaffe, Tennis and Justin Townes Earle. There are plenty of bands to sooth the savage beast.

Look for some fun vendors as well as a slew of food trucks to fill your belly. Be smart and take the Trinity Rail Express from Dallas to Fort Worth. It should be a fun ride.

If you didn’t nab your tickets yet, run to the nearest intertube and buy them immediately. Don’t be left behind.
