Last week we started our Road to Taste Addison, and we continue today with information on the new feature added this year, the Tasty Run. The Tasty Run will feature a 5K and fun run, and all runners and walkers will be treated to culinary “tasting stations” along the race route. The run begins at 8am May 18, 2013.
Tasting stations? This may cause us to actually enter one of these runs.
Addison restaurants serving up delicious Tasty Run bites to runners and walkers include On The Border, Raising Cane’s, La Madeleine, Greenz, Tiff’s Treats, Genghis Grill, Polk-A-Dot Bakery and Buffalo Wild Wings, along with beer from Dos Equis. Individuals, teams and costumes are welcome.
The event is also hunting down hundreds of volunteers for the big day. Volunteers receive free admission to Taste Addison, plus a cool t-shirt. Click this link to volunteer.
