Riedel Wine Tasting Benefits American Heart Association

The American Heart Association Cotes du Coeur campaign to eradicate heart disease is holding a really interesting fundraiser. A tasting of wines in Riedel stemware. I did this once and it is really instructive. I left the tasting with the unmistakable impression that the serving vessel does matter.

Here’s a video I did, taking the role of skeptical interviewer with a top Riedel sales guy.

I recommend you do this tasting as well, with the AHA per the press release below. In Vino (e Vetro!) Veritas!

Join Riedel and the American Heart Association for an educational and entertaining program that will change your wine life forever!

In a unique and fascinating wine glass tasting, meet Buzz Whalen, Texas Riedel Representative as he demonstrates the relationship between the shape of a glass and our perception and enjoyment of wines.  You will also taste how wine and chocolates go together as you will try different chocolates with each varietal.
