Mutt’s Canine Cantina is set to open Wednesday, June 19, 2013. If you recall, Mutt’s is a combo restaurant set in two acres of dog park. It is where you will go to chill with other like-minded pet owners and sip a cold beer while your pooch is checking out the local canine talent.

Mutts will also serve coffee, breakfast tacos, yogurt parfait and donuts for breakfast.  The full-service restaurant will serve burgers, hot dogs, frozen custard, shakes, beer, wine and more during lunch and dinner hours. The only beef used will be naturally raised, grass-fed, with no hormones or antibiotics from Harris Farms with Nathan’s Famous 100% beef franks served as well.

Henry’s Ice Cream will provide a “specially made for Mutts” frozen custard, while Hypnotic Donuts will provide all of the morning donuts (vegan options available on Mondays and Tuesdays).  Also look for local brews at Mutt’s.

The dog park will charge a fee of $9.95 per dog, per month or one-time day-pass for $4.95.  Monthly membership allows for unlimited visits to the only  two acre dog park in the Uptown area, and features separate parks for large and small breeds and on-site attendants, so members do not have to pick up after their dogs, are also available.

Co-owner, Josh Sepkowitz explains, “The restaurant will be a fun place for people to gather for good food and drink, but we want people to know that this is a restaurant first, dog park second.  You do not need a dog to come to Mutts.”

every city should have two acres for a dog park. I live in Cocoa Beach area,FL; Brevard county 37 miles of beaches and dogs are not allowed is that insane.. in Miami dogs are allowed at beaches.
