SPCA Pets of the Week: Meet Cheyenne and Gain

Cheyenne-115901-(2)JMWe have a few more adorable pets for you to take home and love on. This week they are particularly sweet and would make a great addition to your family.

Meet Cheyenne, a delightful 2-year-old, 47-pound Sharpei/Akita mix looking for a fun and loving forever family.  With her soft red and brown coat, warm chocolaty eyes, and sweet smile, she is definitely hard to resist.  Cheyenne is a spirited gal and enjoys bounding after tennis balls, playing tug-o-war, and chomping down on squeaky toys.  You’ll know she’s ready to play when she bounces up and down like that Pepé Le Pew from the cartoons!  In addition to being a playful pup, she is also quite intelligent!  She already knows how to sit on command and will come when called.  Feel free to reward her talents with tasty chicken treats, those are her favorite.

Cheyenne was transferred to the SPCA of Texas on May 31 in the hopes of finding her forever home! She has been spayed, Heartworm tested (she’s negative), micro-chipped, and received her age- appropriate vaccinations. Cheyenne is looking for a home where her days will be filled with love and laughter.  What are you waiting for? Come and meet her today. #115901

Meet Gain, a gorgeous 10-month-old, Domestic Short Hair mix. She has a beautiful brown tabby coat with gorgeous green/yellow eyes and a cute little pink nose.  Gain was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on March 30 so that she can find her forever home! She can be a little shy at first, but once she gets to know you, she is as sweet as can be. Gain enjoys spending her days looking out the window, lounging in the sun, or playing. She loves toys, especially laser pointers! In her previous home she lived with children and other cats. Though she loves people and other cats, she would prefer a home without dogs.

Gain will fill your life with lots of laughter, love, and happiness!  She has been spayed, FIV/FeLV tested (she’s negative), micro-chipped, received her age- appropriate vaccinations, and is litter box trained! She is also a V.I.P. (Very Important Pet) and she has a special lower adoption price! Would Gain be the perfect addition to your family? Come and meet her today! #113263
