We received word this week that James “Jimmy” DiCarlo passed away at the age of 92. You might know Mr. DiCarlo from best from Jimmy’s Food Store in East Dallas which he started in 1966. He was married to wife Marie who passed away in 2005. Together they raised a family of four, Vincent, Mary, Mike and Paul, with a total of ten grandchildren.
The family run grocery will be closed this Friday, August 9, 2013, out of respect and to allow employees to attend the services which will be held at Saint Thomas Aquinas. Rosary begins at 10 am and Mass 10:30.
