Friday’s are always wonderful days. The sun shines a little brighter, and the birds flutter with a little more gust under their wings. We all prepare for a wonderful weekend of fun, and for those crave readers out there we are sure you have mucho dinner plans with friends and family. Friday’s should be the Lord’s day. This Friday we have something especially delightful to carry on about as Sprinkles Ice Cream opens their doors for the public at noon. These are the same happy folks that brought us the brightfully delicious cupcake, and more recently, the cupcake ATM.
There will be sprinkles abound as the lines form, children skip and lovers swoon with every scoop deftly placed upon each cone or sandwiched between two hefty cookies. For those cupcake fiends, you can even have a cupcake top as an added bonus. Just think muffin tops, but with soft, sweet cupcake goodness perched on smooth and creamy.
Sprinkles founder Candace Nelson will personally be scooping to the crowd from 3 to 5pm at the location in Preston Center. You can share your love her perky cakes, or scream about how you want a store in Plano. You know you want one in Plano.
Oh, in case you were curious, I made up the word ‘brightfully’ for your enjoyment. Feel free to use it tomorrow when describing the new ice cream shop to your friends. And order a red velvet cone for me.
