Preston Center Wicked Po Boy Rumored To Become Pho Restaurant

phoby Steven Doyle

Late August we shared the fact that Wicked Po Boy closed in Preston Center. Chi and Joey Le, owners of the groovy NOLA inspired restaurant, which was located at 6030 Luther Lane, were suffering through the fact that there wasn’t a big enough dinner crowd to sustain the shop even though lunches proved to be highly successful. Now we catch rumors that a retooling is underway to bring pho to the center.

The Le’s are keeping this under wraps, but area tenants shared the good information which would make a neighborhood happy that is bereft of the Vietnamese soup.

Meanwhile, the restaurant couple are planning on opening their restaurant take on ramen, Tanoshi, later this month. Then the Le’s will be king and queen of the bowl, serving ramen, pho and gumbo. You can still grab a fantastic po boy at their original location in Richardson at 1811 N Greenville.
