Sapporo Has Closed For Business

Sapporo Ramen and Sushi in Richardson’s Little China Town on Greenville Avenue has shuttered. In its place is a similar concept with some new items. Look for Oldero (they spelled it out for me on the phone) in its place. The new management say that they will still serve ramen, sushi and other similar items, but have expanded the menu a bit.

No word from super star sushi chef Sean Kang who gave the little restaurant much of its personality. Sean, answer your phone.

  1. When it first opened about 4 years ago it was wonderful. After one ownership change it totally lost its ability to produce credible ramen. We stopped going, but I never like to see any local restaurant close (especially when there are ALWAYS steps ownership can take to turn things around — if they are willing).
