Toad in the Hole Opening Soon on Ross Ave

toadby Steven Doyle

Look for a new English-style pub and grub opening up on Ross Avenue (our predicted newest hot spot in Dallas). Toad in the Hole will be the latest to join the likes of Three Sheets, Ku De Ta, and Sunset Lounge. The General Manager is Johnny Oliva (The Fan Sports Lounge, The Point), and will be staffed by prominent area bartenders with the many years of collective experience.

Toad will feature  kicked up pub fare, including a soft boiled Scotch Egg, Newcastle Beer Battered Onion Rings, Bangers and Mash, Shepherd’s Pie, and of course the eponymous Toad in the Hole. For those not familiar with the latter, this Toad in the Hole will be house made sausages in a Yorkshire pudding served with an onion gravy. Very traditional sounding.

In addition to some fine cocktails, you will also note plenty of taps with local beer featured.

Toad in the Hole will open in the next few weeks. It is located in the old Southern Comforts Rodhouse at 3121 Ross Avenue.
