What’s Eating Your Phone?

phoneby Steven Doyle

Each week we ask the question, “What’s Eating Your Phone”? This is where we all can join in on the foodie fun and send in your latest dining photo that has you all jazzed. These are not necessarily limited to dining out, it can be from that last dinner party. And don’t think we discriminate against libations. Send in your favorite cocktail photo, too.

To be included in a future edition of What’s Eating Your Phone, send those photos to me at steven@cravedfw.com.  A brief description and location would be super helpful. Here are this week’s selections:

katy

Katy Priore who owns Bark, a chocolate company we have featured here in the past sends us a photo of her dinner. This is her tofu pho is from DeLat Vietnamese restaurant, and she said it is so good that she has been back twice this week. Katy, we have had that same pho and love the tofu as well.

chino

Kristen Wheaton seems to love Chino Chinatown in Trinity Groves. She sends us her photo of the Duck Fat Fries, which are really kicked up yucca wedges. Any time you hear a mention of Chino, the conversation will ultimately land on the Duck Fat Fries. they are so good.

nonna

We have long loved this next entry from Beth Harvey who claims it is the best pizza in Dallas, This is the beloved white clam pizza from Nonna, and regardless what is ordered when we go to Nonna, this is the starter. Nonna is open for lunch of Friday, and this makes a marvelous meal for two. (Hint, hint)

hampton

We probably knew that East Hampton Sandwich Company made burgers, but never able to get past the lobster roll. Check out this photo sent to us by Chad Redding.

cachapa

Cachapas at Zaguan are these flavorful “pancakes” made with fresh corn. The dish is filled with chicken, avocado and cheese. Thank you Edgar Silva for reminding us to hightail it back this this hidden gem on Oak Lawn in Dallas.
