May is National Burger Month and Del Frisco’s Grille celebrates with a burger of the month at each of their restaurants in the DFW area. All three locations in Uptown Dallas, Southlake Town Square and Fort Worth’s Sundance Square are participating with a unique burger specially created by their respective chefs.

First stop on the Del Frisco burger tour is the “Bass Fort Worth Chili Burger” which is featured at Del Frisco’s Grille Fort Worth in Sundance Square. This burger has a base of chili, bacon, beef, onions, and cheese. This burger is dedicated to the memory of Executive Chef Russ Huey and incorporates bread from Empire Bakery. Executive Chef Carter Reyenga said, “It is two American classics in one. Chili and a burger. Two prime beef patties topped with house ground prime chili that is slow braised with Bass beer. It is topped with shredded cheddar, diced onions and sloppy sauce. All fitting between a local brioche bun.”

Southlake is offering the “Lone Star Prime Cheeseburger”. Thinking outside the typical burger, patty they add on slices of brisket that has been slow cooked to bring out its individual flavor. Add on the jalapenos and cheese to make this savory burger one that will leave you grinning. Executive Chef Aaron Henschen said, “This burger is made from local ingredients, has a sweet tangy BBQ sauce, and the candied jalapenos are sweet with a little heat that hits the backside of your throat.” Ingredients featured are Two Prime Patties, Shredded BBQ Brisket, Jalapeno Jack Cheese, local Candied Jalapenos and Village Baking Company Brioche Bun.

For your final burger experience stop by the Dallas location which is featuring the “Uptowner.” A burger is satisfying on its own but Del Frisco’s Grille is making it even better by adding truffle oil, mushrooms, Brazos brie from Waco, Texas, and arugula. Executive Chef Antonio Zamora said, “We take two prime beef patties, herb roasted wild shiitake, portabella, oyster, and crimini mushrooms, and top it with local creamy Brazos Brie cheese, crunchy, peppery arugula tossed in truffle vinaigrette and finishing it with a sweet basil aioli on an Empire bakery brioche bun.”

Each burger comes with a choice of frites seasoned with sea salt.
