Each week we ask the question, “What’s Eating Your Phone”? This is where we all can join in on the foodie fun and send in your latest dining photo that has you all jazzed. These are not necessarily limited to dining out, it can be from that last dinner party. And don’t think we discriminate against libations. Send in your favorite cocktail photo, too.

Look at this beauty sent in to us by Jason Harper from Trio. This is his Lobster Mascarpone Mac with coral oil.
Mega-Barman Michael Martensen sends us a photo from his newly renovated bar at Driftwood which now features two beautiful absinthe stations replete with all the accouterments. Martensen reminds us that “absinthe is drinking my phone from Driftwood!”
Sarah Im sends us her brunch from Bolsa. “This is the Duck ,Duck, Duck (duck fat hollandaise, duck confit (leg & thigh), and duck egg served on a grilled ciabatta). We also enjoyed the White Chocolate Rum Tile but that was gone before I could take a picture! We enjoyed everything including the amazing bottomless mimosas!”
Robert Sullivan checked in at True Foods last night and enjoyed this grilled salmon and kale dish. Looks healthy and delicious.
Mike Snider, owner of Allgood Cafe (home to the best chicken fried steak in Dallas) ends us a photo from his kitchen reminding us that todays blue plate special is this cheesy chile relleno.
Sheri Hall is fast becoming a regular with her margarita shots that she takes in and around Dallas. This one is from Uncle Julios where she says, “This is a Happy Hour house margarita from the bar at Uncle Julio’s on the Tollway. Frozen, with salt. I love the retro hip pattern on the table and the pop of green in the lime and red in the straw.”
We had quite a few chefs and restaurant owners send us some love from their phones today. We will add those to our weekly line up because they are readers, too!
Hey Steve- I think this is a great promotion. I can’t share it this week on Jasper’s and Abacus, because I already have a post scheduled about reviewing on Trip Advisor. I’m going to add this to the line-up for next week.
