Music lovers are invited to attend a two-day Grand Opening of Spinster Records on Friday, October 17th, and Saturday, October 18th, featuring live music and DJ sets from a riveting list of entertainers, including Birds of Night, Dustin Cavazos, Exit 380, DJ Sober, and more. The retail storefront offers a selection of new and vintage vinyl records, approachable and high-end audio equipment, as well as a collection of clothing and accessory items selected especially for Spinster by LA-based celebrity stylist Caroline Rothwell.
With vinyl record sales up an unbelievable 32% since 2012, the continuing upsurge in demand for physical records demands an outlet for hipsters, art aficionados, and novice record collectors alike to converge in their search for their new favorite album. In the Dallas area alone, vinyl record outlets will see multiple new additions this year. Spinster is excited to lead this charge in the Oak Cliff area.
Setting Spinster Records apart from their local competitors is the ability to pair the consumer not only with the music they want, but with the system that will make it sound the way its creators intended. A selection of turntables, tube phono pre amps, design-conscious amplifiers, and connection accessories will be offered in store with the option to have a store-based installer visit the customer’s home to provide a seamless store-to-home installation.
