KDC, one of America’s leading commercial real estate development and investment firms, today announced that Chef Kent Rathbun’s Jasper’s “Gourmet Backyard Cuisine” concept will join CityLine, the company’s 186-acre mixed-use project in Richardson, Texas. The restaurant is scheduled to open in summer 2015.
“Jasper’s and Chef Rathbun are synonymous with truly unique food in a sophisticated, yet relaxed environment,” said KDC Vice President Colin Fitzgibbons. “The concept is a perfect fit for the ‘front door’ to CityLine and the high energy district of dining and entertainment.”
Jasper’s, to be located at the corner of Plano Road and State Street, features a casual design with a “modern outdoors” theme and focuses on the best of America’s regional cuisine. The comfortable upscale restaurant combines seasonal ingredients of the highest quality and familiar and loved recipes. The menu is broad enough to satisfy the most discerning guests with rotisserie chicken, fresh seafood, prime aged steaks and an assortment of seasonal salads.
”When I first created the Jasper’s concept, my goal was to develop a restaurant where guests could enjoy an unforgettable meal whether looking for a casual or high-end dining experience and that’s exactly what I did,” said Executive Chef Kent Rathbun. “Ten years later and three Jasper’s restaurants operating in Plano, Austin and The Woodlands, Texas, the journey of creativity and growth has exceeded my expectations. Opening a fourth location in the Richardson area further advances my career goal and I am extremely excited about what the future holds.”
Open for lunch and dinner, Jasper’s will cater to meet the needs of social and business guests with a board room and private dining room perfect for presentations, social events or business meetings. Additionally, the new Richardson location will offer an outdoor dining area and energetic bar and lounge creating an unbeatable place to relax and enjoy with friends and family.
